The Company has today been informed that on Wednesday 11 May 2011, Martin Geoghegan a PDMR at JD Wetherspoon plc sold 5,000 of the Company's ordinary shares at a price of 465.45p per share.

Following the above transaction, Mr Geoghegan holds 10,487 shares in the Company.
