Announcement of transaction in ordinary shares by a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility

The Company has today been informed that Martin Geoghegan a PDMR at JD Wetherspoon plc transferred 1,510 of the company's ordinary shares to his wife, Helena Geoghegan. Their joint holding remains at 24,227.

The Company was also informed today that Rebecca Payton, a PDMR at JD Wetherspoon plc sold 1,409 of the company's ordinary shares at a price of 422.52p per share.

Following this transaction, Mrs Payton now holds an interest of 8,495 ordinary shares in the Company.
