Director's responsibilities
Jim Clarke, Finance Director, has informed the Board of JD Wetherspoon plc ('JD
Wetherspoon' or 'the Company') of his intention to leave the Company. He will
continue to work at JD Wetherspoon until October 2007. The Board will undertake
a thorough process to identify a suitable successor.
Tim Martin, chairman of JD Wetherspoon, said:
'It has been a pleasure to have had Jim working with us. He has made a
significant contribution to the development of the business and he leaves JD
Wetherspoon on a strong financial footing. I wish him well in his future career.
'
Jim Clarke, finance director of JD Wetherspoon, said:
'I have enjoyed the ten years I have spent at JD Wetherspoon. I would like to
consider other possible career opportunities and have decided now is an
appropriate time to do so.'
