Mr Timothy Randall Martin, Non Executive Chairman of JD Wetherspoon plc, today
transferred 420,962 ordinary 2p shares to Timothy Randall Martin and Felicity
Ann Martin as trustees of the Timothy Randall Martin Children's Settlement.


Following the transfer Mr Martin's beneficial holding has remained unchanged.
