Pub operator JD Wetherspoon has signed contracts with BAA to open two new
outlets at Heathrow Terminal 5.
It is to invest £1.5 million developing the new pubs, which will both be
airside.
The terminal is set to open in March 2008 following a £4.3 billion construction
project.
Wetherspoon Chief Executive John Hutson said: ' We have a close working
relationship with BAA, established during the past 15 years.
'The company already operates seven pubs at Heathrow and we are looking forward
to opening at Terminal 5 and being a part of its success.'
The new pubs will be open throughout the week, from the first flight until the
final flight and will serve a wide selection of food and drink.
Approximately 60 new full and part-time jobs will be created
