Voting Rights and Capital


In accordance with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, JD
Wetherspoon plc would like to notify the market of the following:

At the date of this announcement, JD Wetherspoon's issued share capital
comprises 147,808,382 ordinary shares of 2p each with voting rights.

The above figure 147,808,382 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or make a change to their interest in, JD Wetherspoon plc
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
