TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SECURITIES

27 October 2023

Whitbread PLC ("Whitbread") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 76 122/153 pence each on the London Stock Exchange and Multilateral Trading Facilities from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc ("Morgan Stanley"). Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Whitbread on 18 October 2023, as announced on 18 October 2023:

Number of ordinary shares purchased:	131,064
Highest price paid per share:	3,312.00p
Lowest price paid per share:	3,260.00p
Volume weighted average price paid per share:	3,278.72p

Whitbread intends to cancel the purchased shares.

Since 18 October 2023, Whitbread has purchased 865,012 shares at a cost (excluding dealing and associated costs) of £28,621,847.99.                                                                                                                 

Following settlement of the above transaction, Whitbread will hold 12,454,718 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 204,839,731 ordinary shares in issue.
