TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SECURITIES

Whitbread PLC ("Whitbread") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 76 122/153 pence each on the London Stock Exchange and Multilateral Trading Facilities from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc ("Morgan Stanley"). Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Whitbread on 18 October 2023, as announced on 18 October 2023:

Number of ordinary shares purchased:	185,916
Highest price paid per share:	3,341.00p
Lowest price paid per share:	3,196.00p
Volume weighted average price paid per share:	3,228.83p

Whitbread intends to cancel the purchased shares.

Since 18 October 2023, Whitbread has purchased 2,841,568 shares at a cost (excluding dealing and associated costs) of £93,571,206.54.                                                                                                                 

Following settlement of the above transaction, Whitbread will hold 12,454,718 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 202,863,880 ordinary shares in issue.
