Wickes Group plc ("Wickes" or the "Company") announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each through Investec Bank plc.

Ordinary Shares

Number of ordinary shares purchased:	4,530
Lowest price per share (pence):	148.0
Highest price per share (pence):	150.5
Weighted average price per day (pence):	149.8753

The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares.

Including the above purchases, Wickes has purchased a total of 9,134,358 ordinary shares since the commencement of the buyback programme.
