Statement re Share Price Movement
The Board of Wildcat, the LSE listed company targeting investment opportunities in businesses and assets within the upstream sector of the petroleum industry, notes the recent rise in the Company's share price and is not aware of any specific reason for this significant increase, nor is it aware of any material developments beyond those previously notified to the market.
The Company's Directors are focused on sourcing an appropriate target for Wildcat to acquire. At present, no assurances can be provided that the effort will be successful to source and/or complete a transaction.

WCAT is seeking to acquire a business operating in the upstream sector of the petroleum industry - namely exploration, appraisal, development and production of oil and gas, with a primary focus on assets that are at the later phases of exploration and production. Following the acquisition, WCAT intends to seek re-admission of the enlarged group to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
