New group structure and operating model
Wilmington plc, the provider of data, information, training and education services, is pleased to announce a new group structure and operating model.
Following a Board-led strategic review accompanied by a detailed three-year planning exercise, the Board has determined that Wilmington will focus on governance, risk and compliance ("GRC") and Regulatory Compliance and will structure and report its business as two strategic divisions: Information and Data, and Training and Education. The Group's management and operating model will be structured around these two areas from the beginning of the new financial year in July. A presentation describing the new focus and core purpose - "Helping our customers to do the right business in the right way" - can be found on the Group's website at wilmingtonplc.com/investors/reports-and-presentations. The Group's website will be updated for the new structure in coming weeks.
Mark Milner, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"I am delighted to announce our new structure and operating model to support our increased focus on our core purpose of helping our customers to do the right business in the right way. We operate in large GRC and Regulatory Compliance markets with strong growth characteristics, and this new divisional structure will allow us to concentrate our resources to deliver a unique and powerful combination of Information and Data, and Training and Education solutions to our global customer base."
