Proposed Board Change
Wilmington plc today announces that Mark Asplin has informed the Board of his intention to retire as Chairman and step down from the Board during 2018.
Mark's intention to retire has been accelerated by Anthony Foye's decision to step down from the Board in June 2018. Mark and the Board believe that his participation in broadly concurrent processes led by the Senior Independent Director, Derek Carter, to find his and Anthony's successors will help ensure the stability and continuity of the senior management team for the benefit of Wilmington's employees and other stakeholders alike.
