Chief Executive succession
As planned Paul Bateman will be retiring as Chief Executive of Wincanton plc
within the next 12 months. He will be succeeded by Graeme McFaull, currently
the Managing Director of Wincanton's operations in the UK & Ireland.
Victor Benjamin, Chairman of Wincanton, made the following comment:
'Paul has led Wincanton successfully through a period of financial growth and
strategic transformation. The Board is most grateful to him.
We are pleased to appoint Graeme McFaull as his successor. Graeme has played a
key role in the development and implementation of Wincanton's growth strategy.
He will lead a strong and experienced team. The Board is confident that this
team, with Graeme's leadership, will deliver further strong financial
performance and continuing progress towards the Group's strategic objectives.'
