Notification of Capital Markets Event
Wincanton plc ('Wincanton' or the 'Group'), a leading supply chain partner for UK business, is today hosting an in-person Capital Markets Event for analysts and investors at two of its state-of-the-art eFulfilment facilities in Northamptonshire.
The event will focus on Wincanton's eFufilment offer, a key strategic growth market for the Group. The day will include guided tours of The WEB, Wincanton's 528,000 sq ft facility in Rockingham, and robotics demonstrations at Cygnia, the Group's specialist mid-market, eCommerce and multichannel distribution centre in Northampton.
The site tour will be preceded by presentations from the senior leadership group highlighting how investments in automation technologies, software development and a culture of innovating with customers, are positioning the Group to best serve the changing needs of its customers in the retail and consumer goods sectors. This will include;

Ahead of the event, James Wroath, Wincanton's Chief Executive Officer, said:

The presentation will not be webcast live and the event is in-person o nly. A replay of the presentation and the accompanying slides will be made available on the Group's Investor Relations website following the event.
Please note that no new material information will be shared during the presentations. The Group will next update on trading on 12 July 2022, ahead of its Annual General Meeting.
