Trading Update & Notice of Results
Wincanton plc, a leading supply chain partner for UK business, updates on trading for the six months ended 30 September 2023.
The Group continues to trade in line with market expectations.[1] As in prior years, profit is expected to be weighted towards the second half of the financial year, reflecting our seasonal peaks and the onboarding of new customer wins. In line with the Q1 Trading Update, total revenue is expected to be lower year-on-year, reflecting the strategic reorganisation of the Group's transport operations.
The Group will publish its interim results on 9 November 2023.
There will be a presentation to analysts, investors and stakeholders on the day of the announcement starting at 09:00 (GMT) (registration from 08:30), at Numis, 45 Gresham St, London, EC2V 7BF.
