Update re: Results Timing
Windar Photonics plc (AIM: WPHO), confirms that it has been unable to publish its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2019 (the "Accounts") as required by Rule 19 of the AIM Rules for Companies (the "AIM Rules") by the extended deadline of 30 September 2020. Consequently, the Company's shares will be temporarily suspended from trading on AIM as of 7.30 a.m. today, 1 October 2020, pending publication of the Accounts. The Directors are endeavouring to complete the procedures required for audit completion and will publish the Accounts as soon as possible.
In addition, the Company announces that it is utilising the one month extension to the reporting deadline for its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2020 ("Interim Results") as detailed in the Inside AIM publication issued on 9 June 2020. Accordingly, the new deadline for publication of the Interim Results is 31 October 2020.
Notwithstanding the temporary suspension of trading in the Company's shares, the Company will continue to make announcements as and when there are any developments that require announcement under the AIM Rules.
