Wise plc (the "Company") announces that the following transaction in the Company's class A ordinary shares of £0.01 each (" Shares ") has been undertaken by a person closely associated with Taavet Hinrikus, Executive Chairman and person discharging managerial responsibility ("PDMR").

OÜ Notorious (disposal of shares)

There is no change in Mr Hinrikus's beneficial shareholding in the Company as a result of the transaction below and he continues to have, through OÜ Notorious, an interest and voting rights in 93,616,498   class A ordinary shares and 53,966,926 class B ordinary shares, representing in aggregate approximately 12.64% of the voting rights in the Company.

c)	Nature of the transaction	OÜ Notorious entered into a loan agreement with Goldman Sachs International Bank whereby OÜ Notorious granted security over 39,649,572 class A ordinary shares in the Company.  Taavet Hinrikus remains, through OÜ Notorious, the beneficial owner of the shares subject to the security and retains full voting rights.
