Board Changes

Witan Investment Trust plc announces forthcoming changes to the composition of the Board.  

Mrs Catherine Claydon will be appointed a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 9 March 2009.  From 1992 to 2007 she worked at Goldman Sachs, from 2002 as Managing Director, Pension Advisory Group. From 2007 to 2008 she held the same position at Lehman Brothers International.   

Catherine Claydon, who is 44 and a Canadian citizen, holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  There is no information to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 R in respect of Mrs Claydon.

Mr A W Jones intends to stand down as a non-executive director of the Company at the Annual General Meeting to be held on Tuesday 28 April 2009.  Alan Jones joined the Board in 1996 and has been Chairman of the Remuneration Committee since 2003.
