Payment of a Second Interim Dividend
Witan Investment Trust plc announces that a second interim dividend of 5.3p per
Ordinary Share of 25p, in respect of the year ended 31 December 2006, will be
paid on 3 April 2007 to shareholders registered at the close of business on 2
March 2007.
The Board has declared a second interim dividend instead of a final dividend in
order to ensure that, as in previous years, the distribution is made to the
shareholders before 5 April.
The Company has stated its intention to grow the dividend at least in line with
inflation year on year. The two interim dividends declared in respect of 2006
total 9.20p, an increase of 4.5% on the 8.80p paid in respect of 2005.
