                             Annual General Meeting





Witan Investment Trust plc hereby gives notification that, at the Annual General
Meeting of the Company held today, all the resolutions, as set out in full in
the notice of meeting dated 3 February 2003, were duly passed. One of the
resolutions gave authority to the Company to make market purchases of up to
52,320,809 ordinary shares (being 14.99% of the ordinary shares in issue at 24
March 2003).
