Witan Investment Trust plc ('the Company') hereby gives notification that, at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on Tuesday 27 April 2010, all the resolutions, as set out in full in the notice of meeting dated 12 March 2010, were duly passed.  Three of the resolutions were special resolutions, one of which gave authority to the Company to make market purchases of its own ordinary shares up to a maximum of 29,827,667 ordinary shares (being 14.99% of the ordinary shares in issue at 27 April 2010).
