DECEMBER 2016 TRAFFIC STATISTICS:
WIZZ AIR GROWS PASSENGER NUMBERS BY 23%,
LOAD FACTOR INCREASE 2.1 PPTS TO 87%

Geneva, 4 January 2017: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air"), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for December 2016.
In December 2016, Wizz Air continued to expand its network, strengthen its customer offering and operations with the following announcements:
· Wizz Air was awarded a four year concession by the Hungarian government to connect Hungary to Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and Bosnia & Hercegovina. Flights will start operating in April 2017.
· Varna in Bulgaria will become Wizz Air's 27th base with a brand new Airbus A320 aircraft being deployed in July 2017.
· Base expansion continued with a 6th aircraft to Cluj-Napoca in March 2017 and a 2nd aircraft to Kyiv in August 2017.
· Network further expanded with nineteen new routes announced in December to/from Hungary (x6), Bulgaria (x5), Romania (x4), Ukraine (2x), Croatia (x1), and Lithuania (x1) including the new destinations of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tirana in Albania, Prishtina in Kosovo, and Osijek in Croatia.
· Seven new routes commenced operation to/from Bulgaria (x2), Romania (x2), Poland (x1), Ukraine (x1) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (x1).
