FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS IN LOADS AND CO2 EMISSIONS SEEN IN FEBRUARY TRAFFIC STATISTICS

Geneva, 4 March 2025: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air"), one of the most sustainable European airlines, announces passenger and CO2 emission statistics for February 2025.
Wizz Air carried 4.6 million passengers during the month of February, a 5.1% increase year on year. Seat capacity was up 3.0% YoY, resulting in a load factor of 91.8%, up 1.8ppts on last year's load factor of 90.0%.
During the month:
- The yield environment and booking profile in February and March remained positive but moderated compared to the January year-on-year improvement.
- Further, Wizz Air is observing better than expected revenue trends for F26 Q1 vs the prior year, underpinning a stronger start to F26.
- Wizz Air continues to be one of the leading airlines in lowering emissions, reporting a further decline in CO2 emissions per RPK in February, down 2.2% YoY, to 50.3 grams.
- The negotiations on engine selection remain ongoing but are seen as making positive progress as Wizz Air seeks the best outcome for its operations and the Group.
