JULY 2023 TRAFFIC AND CO2 EMISSION STATISTICS
WIZZ AIR CARRIED 6.0 MILLION PASSENGERS, AN INCREASE OF 27% YEAR-ON-YEAR

Geneva, 2 August 2023: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air"), the fastest growing and one of the most sustainable European airlines, today announces passenger and CO2 emission statistics for July 2023.
In July 2023, Wizz Air carried 6,028,939 passengers, representing a 26.6% increase compared to July 2022, at a load factor of 94.9%.
Wizz Air continued to grow its network and improve its customer offering in July, including:
· Wizz Air Abu Dhabi launched its latest route to Erbil, the capital city of the Kurdistan region of Iraq. The new route reaffirms the airline's commitment to ultra-low-cost travel in the region and unlocks travel opportunities for both residents and travelers in the UAE;
· Wizz Air announced the addition of a new aircraft to its fleet at London Luton Airport. The new Airbus A321neo takes Wizz Air's total number of aircraft at London Luton to 12;
· Wizz Air launched WIZZ Discount Club Light, a new loyalty programme that offers customers exclusive in-flight discounts. The programme provides a range of offers, including special on-board coupons and promotions for the WIZZ Café and Boutique;
· Wizz Air consistently reports the lowest CO2 emissions per passenger/km among all competitor airlines, with 52.2 grams per passenger/km for the rolling 12 months to 31 July 2023. For the month of July, CO2 emissions were 50.7 grams per passenger/km (6.8% lower than the same month last year).
