Workspace Group PLC ('the Company')

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock
Exchange for a Listing of 4,400,000 Ordinary Shares of 10p each.

These shares, ranking pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary
Shares in issue, have been allotted pursuant to an application to convert
£2,200,000 of 11% Convertible Loan Stock 2011 into 4,400,000 Ordinary Shares.

It is expected that admission will be effective for the Ordinary Shares on 16th
August 2006.

Following this conversion all of the Company's Convertible Loan Stock will have
been converted to equity.
