Workspace Group PLC ('the Company')

The Company has received a notification today from Harry Platt, Chief Executive
Officer, that he has exercised today options over 28,132 shares at £3.40 per
share and sold 28,132 shares at £9.80 per share.

Until this week, Harry Platt had not sold any shares since 19th February 2002
when he sold 820 shares. Following his exercise of 41,868 options yesterday, he
maintains his shareholding of 72,849 shares, representing 0.44% of the Company's
issued ordinary share capital.
