              WORKSPACE ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT OF OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Workspace Group PLC, ('Workspace') the leading provider of flexible business
accommodation to small and medium sized enterprises in London, today announces
that Maddy Carragher, the current Operations Director has informed the Board of
her intention to retire which will take effect from Friday 12 October 2007.

Tony Hales, Chairman of Workspace, commented,

' It has been Maddy's intention expressed some time ago, to retire from the
Company at some stage during this year, 2007. The Board will be sorry to lose
her input as an Executive Director after 20 years of outstanding service during
which, she has been a key driver in much of the success that the Company has
enjoyed.

' An announcement on the appointment of a new Operations Director will be made
shortly. The new Operations Director will be appointed to the Executive
Committee but it is not our intention to appoint the new candidate to the PLC
board.'
