Workspace Group PLC ('the Company')

The Company has been advised today that the Trustees of the Company's Executive
Share Option Trust ('ESOT') purchased 16,921 ordinary shares today at a price of
1807.5p per share.

The shares will be held by the Trustees and will be used at a later time to meet
any matching requirements imposed in accordance with the rules of the ESOT. The
executive directors of the Company are interested in part of the shares held in
the ESOT and, following this notification, the total number of shares held in
the ESOT amounts to 706,587 ordinary shares of 10p each, which amounts to 4.22%
of the issued share capital of the Company.
