                 WORKSPACE STRENGTHENS ITS ADDITIONAL SERVICES



Workspace Group PLC has today joined with Centric Telecom Limited to provide
high speed broadband internet access and IT services to its customers. It has
merged its own digital infrastructure (previously operated as Vylan, a joint
venture between Workspace Group PLC and Trams PLC) linking 17 properties
comprising 2.1 million square feet of business accommodation in London with
Centric's network which extends to another 105 properties and 7 million square
feet.

For Workspace Group's customers the business, which will trade as Centric
Telecom, will offer all of the services previously provided by Vylan but, with
the twin benefits of an increased depth of support and a broader range of
services that comes with a more substantial operation.
