STATEMENT RE MARKET SPECULATION

The Board of Workspace Group PLC (the 'Company') notes the recent fall in the Company's share price and press speculation relating to a potential capital raising.

The Board confirms that it is considering a range of options including a potential equity raising. The Company is also in discussions with its lending banks to increase the flexibility provided by its existing debt facilities. However, no formal decision on any course of action has been taken at this stage.

A further announcement will be made as and when appropriate.
