FINSBURY WORLDWIDE PHARMACEUTICAL TRUST PLC
REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES
The Board of Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical Trust PLC announces that on 27
March 2000 the Company repurchased for cancellation 500,000 of the Company's
ordinary shares of 25p, representing 1.3% of the issued ordinary share capital,
at a price of 368.0p per share.
Following this repurchase there are 38,640,000 ordinary shares in issue. The
Company has authority from shareholders to repurchase a further 4,516,986
ordinary shares before its next Annual General Meeting, which will be held in
August 2000.
