Worthington announced yesterday that it is proposing, inter alia, to raise
approximately £6.2 million (net of expenses) by way of a 5 for 4 rights issue.
In that announcement the Company stated that it expected to post a circular
to shareholders relating to the proposals yesterday, 30 November 1999. The
Company will in fact post the prospectus to shareholders today. Accordingly,
the timetable of principal events leading up to completion of the rights issue
is now as follows:
