WPP Group PLC ('the Company')
WPP was notified on 14 March 2000 of the following changes to directors'
interests in WPP Ordinary 10p shares ('shares') pursuant to the terms of the
WPP Performance Share Plans for the periods 1996 to 1998 and 1997 to 1999.
44,047 shares vested in Paul Richardson, which have been sold to fund tax
liabilities and other personal commitments. Mr Richardson's beneficial holding
is 331,176 shares representing 0.043% of the issued share capital of WPP.
40,291 shares vested in Eric Salama, 20,399 of which have been retained and
the balance sold to fund tax liabilities. Mr Salama's resultant beneficial
holding is 429,576 shares representing 0.055% of the issued share capital of
WPP.
48,535 shares vested in Brian Brooks, 14,995 of which have been retained and
the balance sold to fund tax liabilities and other personal commitments. Mr
Brooks resultant beneficial holding is 361,513 shares representing 0.047% of
the issued share capital of WPP.
