Appointment of vice chairman

Wynnstay, the agricultural supplies and specialist retail group, is pleased to announce that non-executive director, Lord Carlile, has been appointed as vice chairman with immediate effect. 

Lord Carlile CBE, QC joined the Board of Wynnstay in 1998 and has provided valuable counsel and direction as the Company has pursued its successful growth strategy. 

Jim McCarthy, chairman, said,

"Lord Carlile has provided excellent advice and guidance to the Board over many years in his capacity as a non-executive director and we are now delighted that he is assuming the role of vice chairman."
