NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL
RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS

The Company received a notification on 10 May 2007 from Barclays Private Bank &
Trust Limited as trustees of the Xaar Plc Employee Benefit Trust informing it
that the trustees purchased 206,500 ordinary shares on 09 May 2007 at 264.5p per
share.

The Trustees total interest is currently 1,412,004 shares representing 2.3% of
the Company's issued ordinary share capital. The announcement is made due to the
potential interest of the Directors and persons discharging managerial
responsibility.
