XAAR LAUNCHES THE XAAR 1002
Xaar plc ("Xaar", "the Group" or "the Company"), the digital inkjet printing technology Group headquartered in Cambridge, UK, is pleased to announce the launch of the Xaar 1002.
The Xaar 1002 printhead is the next generation of the market-leading Xaar 1001 which has had a major impact on both printing and manufacturing industries worldwide, and is universally recognised as the world's leading industrial single-pass digital inkjet printhead.
Designed to be backwards compatible with the Xaar 1001, (and hence appearing similar) the Xaar 1002 has been completely re-engineered and incorporates multiple new technology features; these deliver superior performance across a range of parameters resulting in higher image quality combined with improved ease of use.
Richard Barham, Sales and Marketing Director, commented "The original Xaar 1001 with its unique recirculating TF Technology™ kick-started the digital inkjet revolution in the ceramics tile decoration, label, direct-to-shape and laminate sectors. The Xaar 1002 defines the next generation of industrial printheads, re-setting the benchmark in terms of quality and performance available to manufacturers in a variety of industries."
Printing systems featuring the Xaar 1002 printhead are available now from a number of Original Equipment Manufacturers including Autobond, Durst, EFI, EFI Cretaprint, FFEI, Hope Ceramics Machinery, Hymmen, Intesa-Sacmi, INX Digital, KERAjet, KHS, Krones, Meijia Ceramic Equipment, New King Time Machinery, Projecta SITI B&T, SPG Prints, SRS, TecnoFerrari and Till Engineering.

Xaar's full year results for 2013 will be announced on 18 March 2014.
