DOMESTIC XFILTER INDEPENDENT TEST VALIDATION
Xeros Technology Group plc (AIM: XSG), the creator of technologies that reduce the impact of clothing on the planet, is today providing an update on results from independent testing of their domestic washing machine filtration technology, XFilter.
Hohenstein, based in Bonnigheim Germany, a highly respected testing institute for the textile industry, has accredited Xeros' filtration device, XFilter, with the highest level of performance, capturing over 99% of microplastics. These tests were carried out on behalf of a leading Asian domestic washing machine OEM as part of the test and trial agreement signed with Xeros in July 2021.
The test analysed the retention rate of microplastics using an XFilter device integrated into a washing machine provided by our OEM partner. These independently conducted tests consistently showed performance levels of over 99% capture rate, thereby confirming XFilter as the leading commercially available microplastic filtration device. A detailed summary of the test results will be made available on our website.
These test results, combined with the recently announced licencing agreement with Hanning, a leading component supplier to the global washing machine industry, provide further evidence of the potential demand for XFilter. Xeros expects to move to commercial licensing discussions with our Asian OEM partner in the coming months and will provide further updates when appropriate.
Klaas de Boer, Chairman of Xeros, said:
"These test results provide further validation of the market leading performance of our XFilter technology, and we thank Hohenstein for their work in performing the tests. We are confident that this will accelerate our progress with the multiple parties with whom we are currently engaged."

POWERED BY SCIENCE, XEROS CREATE TECHNOLOGIES ENGINEERED FOR THE FUTURE
Born out of textile research and advancing new standards of performance and responsibility, Xeros' technologies revolutionise the way we make and clean our clothes, conserving water and preventing waste. Designed to impact industries and people on a global scale, Xeros transform the performance, impact and economics of the fashion and washing machine industry.
Xeros enable the scaling of their innovations and impact by licencing their intellectual property to partners across the globe. Their work has, to date, created 38 patent families.
Xeros' technologies are already in use in major global industries, including commercial and home laundry and garment manufacture. So far, these technologies have saved millions of litres of water and could prevent billions of microfibres from ending in our oceans.
