Directorate Changes
XPS Pensions Group is pleased to announce that Sarah Ing will join the Board of the Company as an Independent Non-Executive Director subject to FCA approval.
Sarah Ing is a qualified chartered accountant and brings to the Board 30 years' experience in financial services including audit, corporate finance, investment banking and asset management. During her executive career, she was a top-rated equity research analyst covering the UK general financial services sector and also founded and ran a hedge fund investment management business. Sarah is also Non-Executive Director at CMC Markets plc, the FTSE Small Cap UK-based global provider of online retail trading, where she chairs the Group Risk Committee.
Tom Cross Brown, Chairman of XPS Pensions Group plc, said: "We are very pleased that Sarah will be joining the Board and look forward to welcoming her."
In addition, John Batting and Jonathan Bernstein have stepped down from the Board effective 1 April 2019. Tom Cross Brown adds "We felt that we needed to adjust the composition of the Board in the light of the new Corporate Governance Code. We are most grateful for the time that Jonathan and John have served on our Board and look forward to continuing to work with them both in their roles as part of the senior leadership of the business."
As announced 29 November 2018, Mike Ainslie will be stepping down from the Board and his appointment as Chief Financial Officer at the end of June 2019. The Nomination Committee's search for a successor is progressing well.
