Xtract Energy plc ('the Company') announces that it has allotted 2,000,000
Ordinary Shares to Intermin Resources Limited in connection with the assignment
of certain mining tenements as set out in clause 2.6 of its recent admission
document. As a result of this allotment, Intermin Resources Limited will hold
32,000,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 11.1% of the Company's enlarged issued
share capital.
The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares
in the Company. Application has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be
admitted to trading on AIM and this is expected to become effective on 2 August
2006.
The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue following this issue is
288,809,800.
