                            Company Secretary Change

Young & Co.'s Brewery, P.L.C. announces that Christopher Sandland is to
relinquish the role of Company Secretary with effect from 1 October 2005.
Anthony Schroeder, currently Company Secretary Designate, will take up the
position from that date. Christopher will continue in his role as Human
Resources Director.
