Young & Co.'s Brewery, P.L.C. (the 'Company')
Notification pursuant to rule 17 of the AIM Rules
On 28 June 2007, Patrick Dardis, the Company's retail director, exercised his
right to acquire 32,345 'A' ordinary shares of 50p each in the Company's
capital. He acquired those shares from the trustee of the Ram Brewery Trust at
822.5p per share and his nominee has agreed to sell them on his behalf at
3163.1379p per share.
As beneficiaries of the Ram Brewery Trust as members of the Company's
profit-sharing, share option and / or pension schemes, each of the following
directors had an interest in those shares, namely Christopher Sandland, Stephen
Goodyear, Torquil Sligo-Young and Peter Whitehead. Each of those directors has
notified the Company that his interest has been reduced accordingly.
