Zenergy's High Temperature Superconductor ('HTS') Induction Heater Short-listed
                    As Finalist For Prestigious Hermes Award





Zenergy Power plc (AIM:ZEN.L), the specialist manufacturer and developer of
commercial applications for high-temperature superconductors ('HTS') materials,
is pleased to announce it is short-listed as one of five finalists for the
Hermes Award, regarded by many as the most prestigious annual international
technology prize, for its groundbreaking HTS induction heater. The award is to
be presented on Sunday 20th April 2008 by German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel as
the opening highlight of the Hannover Fair, the world's largest industrial
exhibition.



The Hermes Award is recognised as one of the most generous industrial technology
awards as the winning company receives a €100,000 prize. Last year, the Award
was presented for an innovative identification technology to Bayer Technology
Services, a division of Bayer AG, the multinational chemical and pharmaceutical
company, jointly with London-based Ingenia Technology Limited.



The coveted international prize is awarded for the most outstanding new
technical product that has been thoroughly tested on an industrial scale and in
addition demonstrates substantial commercial benefit. Zenergy, in conjunction
with its collaborative manufacturer Bultmann GmbH, was nominated for its
revolutionary HTS induction heater. The HTS induction heater is twice as
efficient as conventional technology whilst offering customers significant
technical advantages. The Group recently announced its second commercial order
for its HTS induction Heater.
