                                Issue of Shares



The Directors are pleased to announce the issuance of 1,000,000 ordinary shares
of 10p each in the Company ('Shares') to Robert Jeffcock, a non executive
director of the Company, pursuant to the exercise of options, notified to the
Company on 14 June 2007. Mr Jeffcock is now the beneficial holder of 6,893,397
Shares or approximately 4.47% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Application has been made to the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange ('AIM')
for the Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ('Admission') and Admission is
expected to occur at 8.00 a.m. on 29 June 2007.

Following this issue VANE has 154,393,823 Shares in issue with 154,393,823
voting rights.
