                                 Board Changes


Northgate plc, the leading commercial vehicle hire company in the UK and Spain,
is pleased to announce that Mr Philip Rogerson, who took on the role of Chairman
on a temporary basis in November 2006, has agreed to accept the appointment on a
permanent basis with immediate effect.

The Nomination Committee is in the process of finding a new independent
non-executive director who will be suitably qualified to take over the position
of Chairman of the Audit Committee. Until that time, Mr Rogerson will continue
in this role.

Mr Tom Brown has been appointed Senior Independent Director in place of Mr
Rogerson.
