                        Result of Annual General Meeting

At the Annual General Meeting held today, 28 September 2005, all resolutions
were approved by shareholders.

Northgate also announces the appointment of Philip Rogerson as the Company's
Senior Independent Non- Executive Director in place of Ronald Williams. Mr.
Williams has retired from the Board of Northgate at the conclusion of today's
Annual General Meeting.
