                             Contract confirmation


Ten Alps Communications PLC ('Ten Alps'), the AIM listed media group, has
received confirmation of the full contract with the Department for Education and
Skills (DfES) for production of the Teachers' TV channel. The signed contract
covers the period 2004-8, with a probable channel launch in early 2005.


The remaining salient financial and structural details of the contract and
consortium are as outlined in the Ten Alps results statement of 21 June 2004.


The media release issued by the DfES will be released at 9.30 a.m. on 9 July
2004.
