Payment of shares in lieu of salary to Bob Geldof
Ten Alps plc, the factual media company, has today issued Sir Robert (Bob) Fredrick Zenon Geldof 213,862 ordinary shares of 2p each of the Company, in lieu of his entire non-executive director fee for the first eight and a half months of the financial year 2008-9.
The amount is calculated on an annual fee of £75,000, based on the current share price of 25.25p, and for the period from the start of the Company's financial year, 1 April 2008, to 19 December 2008.
Application to the London Stock Exchange has been made for these new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM which is expected to occur on 30 December 2008.
Following the issue of shares Ten Alps Plc (the 'Company') will have 52,802,965 ordinary shares in issue. Sir Bob Geldof is now interested in 3,855,978 Ordinary Shares, representing of 7.30% the total issued share capital of the Company. Sir Bob Geldof is also interested in 598,750 options over Ordinary Shares of the Company. The ordinary shares issued today were issued to Hixdell Limited, a company controlled by Sir Bob Geldof.
