Contract Gain with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office
Ten Alps Communications Plc, the AIM-listed media group, announces that its
subsidiary Ten Alps Events ('Ten Alps') has won a £3 million contract with the
Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
The contract is to design, install and manage the UK stand for the Expo 2005 in
Aichi, Japan, and was won following a competitive tender.
Ten Alps will be producing the project in close collaboration with The Natural
History Museum and Land Design. Work begins immediately, and creative details of
the exhibition will be released in the spring of 2005.

Ten Alps Events produces large-scale live events and exhibitions for a range of
corporate and public sector clients. Its most recent high-profile success was
'Brightening Up London', sponsored by Orange, in which images were projected on
Buckingham Palace and other iconic buildings for New Year.

Ten Alps Events was acquired by Ten Alps Communications Plc in 2001. Before its
acquisition, the Company was known as Pacesetter, set up in 1992 by Tim Spencer.
The Foreign Office project is the second largest ever contract won by Ten Alps
Events. Other significant government assignments project-managed by the Company
were the key elements of the VE Day celebrations in Hyde Park, and the VJ
celebrations at Buckingham Palace. It was also responsible for the design,
development and delivery of the official London New Years Eve 1999 celebrations,
in which Tim Spencer had hands-on involvement as project director.
In addition to Ten Alps' marketing success with Orange on the pre-Christmas 2003
and New Year 'Brightening Up London' campaign, the Company has undertaken other
innovative projects with clients such as: Corus, EMI, Sony Playstation, RMC, NCR
and l'Oreal, Capital Radio and O2.
In February this year, Ten Alps signed a strategic alliance with the US-based
global event-marketing firm, The Radiate Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the
Omnicom Group.
Tim Spencer has 20 years' experience of effective project management of
large-scale events having been trained both in the theatre and at the
internationally renowned events company Imagination.
