Ten Alps Communications PLC: Contract Gains
Media group Ten Alps Communications PLC ('Ten Alps') today announces new,
creatively high-profile contracts won by its events company in the UK, the US
and Russia.
LONDON LIGHTING PROJECT
A contract has been signed for a large-scale lighting show over the Christmas
period, in which 36 computer-choreographed 'space cannons' will be positioned
along Oxford Street.
The show aspires to creative reinvention of Christmas lighting for shopping
areas. It is funded by the New West End Company with sponsorship provided by
partners including the London 2012 campaign.
In December 2003, Ten Alps undertook a similarly ambitious project to light ten
major buildings including Buckingham Palace, images of which featured globally
in the press.
FURTHER PROJECTS
In America, work is underway on the construction of a large-scale exhibition
feature for NCR at the RDS show in Las Vegas next month.
In Russia, a contract has been signed with Moscow-based marketing services
agency IMS to jointly market innovative events concepts to major corporate
clients. Ten Alps believes that the sector is relatively underdeveloped. The
client base of IMS includes Nike and Coca-Cola.
In the UK, the company is project managing the live event component of the
Holocaust Memorial Day event for the BBC at the Palace of Westminster on January
27th. Launch events and parties are agreed for Inspired Broadcast Networks, MSN
and FHM.
