LONDON LIGHTING PROJECT A contract has been signed for a large-scale lighting show over the Christmas period, in which 36 computer-choreographed 'space cannons' will be positioned along Oxford Street. The show aspires to creative reinvention of Christmas lighting for shopping areas. It is funded by the New West End Company with sponsorship provided by partners including the London 2012 campaign. In December 2003, Ten Alps undertook a similarly ambitious project to light ten major buildings including Buckingham Palace, images of which featured globally in the press.
