Judge citations
`Elvis by Bono', produced by Ten Alps Radio with White Pebble Media for BBC Radio 4, was described by the judges as "a bold, kaleidoscopic programme with genuine editorial revelations. The original source material was enhanced to its full potential, creating a compelling listen and demonstrating the finest production values with material masterfully weaved into a stunning radio soundscape worthy of a Sony Gold Award."
`Working for Margaret' was praised for "the way the producers mixed contemporary comment with archive recordings of Mrs Thatcher in her home environment. Parris's affection for his subject and his skills as a writer made this an effortlessly compelling and affectionate portrait of his former boss."
Ten Alps has ambitions to expand its radio output to other BBC networks, including Radio 1 and BBC Radio 5 Live, and to make further programming in commercial radio.
